Statistics say that only 4 per cent of the Russian Federation citizens have financial possibilities to go abroad. Usually they are big cities' dwellers. Other people have few options like staying at home, visiting their relatives in other Russian towns, going hiking or travelling to the Black Sea coast (in Russia or the Ukraine).

Is going to the Black sea (within the country) that much cheaper than going to say Turkey? I hear that the airfare inside Russian Federation have already reached or even surpassed that of the western countries.

Big city dwellers. You mean like going sightseeing, museums and stuff and enjoy the nightlife.

People who go there as a rule go by train. The cost of accomodation and meal for a family of four is about 30 000 roubles (about 660 euro) for a fortnight, that is the price of a hotel voucher to Turkey for one person only.

Dear friends, Of course all vacation and holidays depend on our financial possibilities, our preferences, habits, character, age, place of residence,etc....and it is all over the World. For example,my daughter went camping to the our Black sea(mountains) with her friends last year and they were extremely happy there... And once we had our vacation almost free for three months (just travelling expenses and meal),my daughter was small that time. It was Yalta, summer time,a very cosy and really beautiful town (I really felt in love with this nice place!) and we lived in the small flat in the center of this town not far from the see ...ABSOLUTELY FREE! How it is possible? One evening my aunt called me and said that the girl who rented a room at her appartment had some money problems and couldn't rent it any more... "But she is a very, very good girl,I know her for ages and I would like to help her and you",my aunt continued."She is from Yalta and her flat is empty now,so you could go there for a while...and she could stay in one of your rooms in Moscow",she was like a chatterbox ... So I wasn't thinking a lot of time...and as a result we had very good vacation!

Yes, somtimes the unexpected things become the most pleasant situations. Mostly when you least expect it.
